NEW CLEAR-COAT OFFERING
We are pleased to announce an exciting addition to our product line. Until now, the only clearcoat we could supply was one which dried and cured by evaporation. The clearcoat used by OEM and supplied to Auto Body Paint shops for repair is a chemical-cure acrylic urethane.
What does this mean?
Simply put, the chemically cured urethane clear dries faster, shines more and resists chemicals, weather and abrasion better than an air-dry product.
Technology never rests, and now a spray can has been developed that contains the clearcoat and propellant as well as a user-activated injector that adds the isocyanate hardener to the clear in the can. Using this system, it is now possible to spray the same material used in body shops from a spray can.
Additional developments have been made in the overall design of the can itself. The spray nozzle is now more ergonomic and sprays like a conventional spray gun. It provides a very smooth flow of material and the clear dries with a long-lasting high-gloss shine.
